From 2011 til 2018

Wow How far God has brought us!! From our first training in 2011.

Gwinnett County’s First Adopt-A-School Conference
Attendees and Trainers

Gwinnett County’s first Adopt-A-School Conference was held at Peachtree Corners Baptist Church, on Saturday, September 10th. The training was from 8:00 until 2:30 and each Volunteer was from the first 3 schools in the County – Riverside, Roberts, and Peachtree ES Good News Clubs.

The theme was “Change Agents” and each Volunteer learned that God can use us as Change Agents in the lives of the little children at Good News Club. We must be bold in sharing our faith every opportunity we have. Each Attendee was given a button that said, “Change Agent”. The scripture was Acts 4:29 Enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.”

It was exciting to see the 32 Attendees. These Clubs will be reaching over 200 children with the Gospel of Christ and His love for little children every week.

This was one of thousands Adopt-A-School Conferences held every fall across the Country. Every Volunteer has to be trained and screened before they can serve on a Good News Club Team in a public school. Praise God for people who have a heart to share Christ with little children outside the church walls.
