“And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so take a look at all the leaders who attended our 2017-18 Good News Club Leaders’ training on Saturday, August 26th. Almost 200 leaders attended and we will have almost 100 leaders attending our make-up training on September 24th. God has truly blessed us in Gwinnett County. I am amazed at what my God has done! Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised!
Our theme for this year is “…for such a time as this?” Like Esther was placed at a time and place in history to save her people, God has placed us at this time and place in history to faithfully give the Gospel to little children for such a time as this. Our time is very short on earth compared to eternity. We are on the stage now and only God knows how many years we have, so we must seize the day and do what He has called us to do. We are living in the most evil times. If there was a ever day when children need to hear about Jesus, it is today. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 Children are being hindered from coming to Jesus. They have no way of hearing about the One who loves them most. One little girl said, “I’ve heard the name Jesus. My Dad uses it all the time in a curse word, but I didn’t know that Jesus loved me and died on the cross to pay for my sins.” How sad is that?
Where would children hear about Jesus? Most families don’t attend church. They won’t hear about Jesus at school, not at the movies and certainly not in the media. So where could they hear this good news? Praise God, the Good News Clubs share Jesus every week. We will be sharing Jesus with 3,000 children who will be coming to our 40 Good News Clubs this school year. The best part is that many children will be receiving Jesus to be their Savior, and their lives will be changed forever!
Think back when you made the most important decision of your life. How old were you? Studies have shown that most Christians made that decision before age 14. George Barna surveys show that 85% of Christians trust Christ during the 4 -14 window. We are serving in the highest success rate of any age group. This explains why Satan would not want this age group to hear the good news. We are in a battle with an enemy who has done everything in his power to keep little children from hearing the good news of Jesus and His love, but praise God we will not be silent!
Come join our army of volunteers who are faithfully serving in a Good News Club for such a time as this. Your life will never be the same!
