Helping children encounter the hope and truth found in Jesus Christ in a safe and welcoming school environment.
Good News Club is a weekly, Bible-based program held in local elementary schools where volunteers come alongside children to share the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ—pointing them to God’s Word, encouraging them in His truth, and showing Christ’s love through kindness in a safe and positive environment.
When you serve with us, you don’t need to be a teacher or have all the answers—just a willing heart surrendered to Jesus. Volunteers help share simple Bible lessons, point children to the truth of God’s Word, and create a space where kids can experience Christ’s love, feel seen, valued, and encouraged in Him.

What does Good News Club look like?
Good News Club is a weekly after-school program where children experience songs, games, Bible memory, and a clear Gospel lesson in a fun and caring environment.
Volunteers often say they love:
> Knowing their time is making an eternal impact
> Seeing children excited to come each week
> Watching kids learn about Jesus and ask thoughtful questions
> Building meaningful relationships with kids and families
> Seeing God use their unique gifts and personality
> Knowing they are part of something bigger than themselves
> Celebrating “lightbulb moments” when kids truly understand truth and come to faith in Christ
> Serving as part of a team of dedicated volunteers
“We volunteered for Good News Club thinking we were helping the kids (hopefully we are), but they have made this one of our favorite times of the week.”
– Cindy, Bold Springs Baptist Church

What is involved in serving in Good News Club?
Good News Club meets weekly right after school and is designed to be engaging, organized, and centered on the Gospel. Volunteers work together as a team to create a caring, high-energy environment where children can learn about God and grow in their understanding of His Word. You do not have to do everything. Each volunteer is given specific responsibilities based on the needs of the club and their gifts, experience, and comfort level.
